IMEX-MPI- MCI FUTURE LEADERS FORUM

H. K Allison Projects for Sustainability was proud to be a contributor to this event that took place in conjunction with the Green Meeting Industry Council’s Conference held in  San Francisco, in April 2014.

“The forum is a year-round programme which is jointly run by IMEX, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and MCI. Final year students studying meetings and conventions, tourism or hospitality at university or college are invited to attend a Future Leaders Forum. Forums typically take place as part of a larger meetings industry conference or trade show in 12 or more locations around the world every year.

As of 2014 over 100 Forums had taken place and around 6,000 students had passed through the programme since its launch in 2003. Locations for 2014 included Turkey, Africa, Slovenia and North America. After attending the Forum students become part of the Future Leaders Network, providing access to a global network of their peers around the world as well as continued career guidance.”

The 2014, San Francisco Future Leaders Forum planning committee consisted of Charles Bello, Beverly Oviedo, Natasha Zellerbach, Michelle Millar, Kelly Schwartz and Leticia Lucero.

Educational training materials were produced by H K Allison Projects for Sustainability and Advantage Information Design.

Participating schools included CSU, Monterey Bay, CSU, Chico,
